Ingara neck piece By Omina Otsieno
The Ingara neckpiece
Inspired by a hand-woven circular stand that can be used for holding buckets or jerrycan on
women’s heads when coming from fetching water from the stream. It is also used to hold
a communal pot containing traditionally brewed alcohol in place; this beer is taken using long straws.
